Now Official Member of The Delta High School Girls Soccer Team!!!

I am now a official member of the Delta High School Girls Soccer Team. We had our first game on the 12th here at home. We played a team that was meant to be very rough. We ended up coming out of the game with a 3-0 loss. But with our heads held high since the coaches said that a few years ago- they had beat Delta 10-0. So this was a big change. i even got to play part of Varisity along with the other freshman, Jacey Pace. This year the coaches had me sub in for a junior defender, Karli Farnworth. My cousin and one of my best friends.
I was able to play defense for my first time EVER in a game in soccer. All my life I have been playing offense. Mostly forward but sometimes mid-fielder. Then randomly they ask me to play defense. I was able to play about 1/2 an hour of Varsitiy. I was so happy:) Then i played a short game of all of JV. Having us lose that game 2-0.
Then on Friday we left Delta at 2pm to go to St.George to play. We stayed at St. George that night but played in Hurricane that morning. Our room-which we were assigned was crazy with other girls coming in our room to watch Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel. In my room happened to be one of my best friends,Brooke Finn, Jalice Loosee, and Lauren Chapman. Then we had Karli, Angela Burton, Alexa Finlinson, and Paige Johnson come in our room and we just sat there eating junk food all night in front of the TV. After they left our room still stayed up til 11pm watching Tv.
The next day we played Hurricane and Varsity lost 5-0. Which i didnt play this game.
I did on JV but we lost 5-0 also.
It was sad but we will have the best combacks ever!!!!
